Recently designated a World Heritage Site as part of the Funerary and Memorial Sites of the Great War, the Chinese cemetery in Noyelles bears witness to a little-known aspect of the conflict. More than 45,000 workers from the Chinese Labor Corps contributed to the war effort on the Picardy home front.
