On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, all of Long's monuments open their doors to you. On the program this weekend: heritage visits (hydro-electric power station, Saint Jean-Baptiste church, château, concert) and nature tours. Special opening of the Château and its grounds: saturday 20 and Sunday 21, 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm Guided tour of the château and self-guided tour of the grounds. Regional exhibitors' market in the château outbuildings over the weekend. Price: 6? for the château and 6? for the grounds Saint Jean-Baptiste Church Dedicated to Saint Jean-Baptiste, the church is an exceptional neo-Gothic edifice featuring stained glass windows recounting the life of the saint, 19th-century furniture by the famous Duthoit brothers and the centerpiece, the Cavaillé-Coll organ. There's also an exhibition of old postcards of the village, and a photo exhibition entitled "Laudato Si" by Yann Artus Bertrand. Then project yourself into the present and future, and consider the challenges of tomorrow. Let's discover together why the marshes are today preserved and recognized for their biodiversity. For lunch, join members of the Vieulaines church preservation association for a picnic.
