Festival du Pipasso

Opening the evening, an Italian program with the Popular Music of the Apennines in Italy. Stefano Valla (piffero) and Daniele Scurati (accordion) are deeply rooted in the Quattro Province of the Apennines, in north-western Italy, where they play and sing the musical language of this territory. Their work aims to keep alive the music and culture of the oral tradition in this mountainous region, the home of Giacomo and Ernesto Sala, the most important piffero players of the last century. In the second half of the evening, on the occasion of the release of their album "Le bal à Marie", Amuséon will share their lucky finds. The company is the proud owner of an audio cassette dating from 1975, featuring an 80-year-old woman singing on the Picardy Coast. The musicians have reworked and recreated this repertoire of 14 songs, in Picardy and French. Vocals, Pipasso, flute: Ghislaine Desmaris Chorus, accordion: Yves Desmaris Vocals, percussion : Jean Caron Violin: Anaëlle Seille Vocals, double bass, bouzouki: Baptiste Dumangin
